Lexington Rescue Mission

Every week in our worship, we ask God to, "Send us now into the world in peace, and grant us strength and courage to love and serve you with gladness and singleness of heart."  One way we put feet to this prayer is to serve the community we live in. The Lexington Rescue Mission offers a place where we can serve others in concrete and useful ways.

The Lexington Rescue Mission

The Lexington Rescue Mission exists to serve and glorify God through Christ-centered service that meets the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the poor and homeless in the greater Lexington area. Whether it is an elderly homeless man in need of a hot meal, a low-income child who has a hard time learning to read, a single mom who struggles to keep the heat on in the winter, or a man addicted to drugs and alcohol in need of a fresh start, Lexington Rescue Mission is right in the center of our community ready to help.
